Back from Hong Kong, not whatever you think it is.. (haha)
It was a long week for me,
exploring this foreign city that I have grown to love.
Its weather, its people, its parks, its monkeys too!
The place I liked the most is Wetland Park.
It is close to nature and far from the city.
Beautiful trees and colourful flowers surround you,
the birds chirping and the wind makes you feel so much more alive.
Another thing I love about HK is its public transportation.
Buses, taxis, MRT, trams.. each so efficient and complements each other so well.
Saves you a lot of time and money.
You can get to your destination on time. :)
The weather there is a mystery.
One day it's sunny but it's chilly cold the next.
Always bring an extra jacket or shawl to keep you warm.
When the time comes, they will come in handy.
There are two attractions which I particularly enjoyed:
Ocean Park and Disneyland.
If you want to see Disney characters come to life,
then Disneyland is the place for you.
If you have a thing for amusement and animals,
Ocean Park will definitely win your heart.
By the way the year 2012 is coming to an end.
I want to take this chance to wish all a happy 2013!
